Our relationship with YHWH is always one of drawing closer or falling away. There is no standing still in this relationship, when we think we are standing still, we are in fact falling away.

People ask why doesn't YHWH speak in an audible voice today? I can't give you all the answers, but part of it could be that we are not near as close to Him as we think we are. We have fallen so far away and filled our lives with so much other noise, how could we hear Him if He did speak? He would have to yell loud enough to drown out our iPods, TVs, car stereos, computers etc. etc. Since in times past He has used a still small voice, we today are not tuned into a still small voice. We cannot shut up long enough to hear Him.

We need to draw closer and become more quite to be able to hear Him.

Draw closer today, don't fall away.

Good point. We need, in this modern world of noise, to seek Elohim in silence.
