I'M SAVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Right now? or in the Future? and what am I Saved from?

I've noticed that the Messianic community doesn't really focus on the same idea or subject matter as the christian community. One of the subjects I NEVER here the Messianic community speak on is Salvation. Being "Saved" Whats the Messianic/Hebrew community's take on Salvation and being Saved? What are we saved from or are we saved yet? and if we are saved or being saved what are we being saved from? When do we know that we're saved? Are we saved now or in the future?

yeah I hear ya bro. I can almost remember the day when I learned that in church. Never made sense to me why David would write a song about being persecuted while on the run from Saul and people would thousands of years later make it out to appear as if he's prophetically speaking of Messiah on the cross. Did I just say cross? I meant tree. my bad.

Imma go ahead and agree to disagree and stick with the Peshitta on this one. But before I do, lets look at something right quick. This is what REALLY convinced me that this entire teaching was bogus:

Psalms 22:1 is written thusly: Ali Ali Lemah Uzbethany or for those who don't speak ancient hebrew Eli Eli Lamah Azabethani

And Matt 27:46 is - Eli Eli Lama Sabachthani. I'll leave the error in place and it still proves itself to be very different things going on.
Absolutely! And you're right "For this cause I came into the World" is another way that could be translated.
my comment about "ebionite-esque conjecture" was in response to Redwood's tiresome attacks on Shaul/Pallu. (the little gray arrows are sometimes hard to see)

The attacks are warranted. Paul lied to the Sanhedrin, to Agrippa about his near-lynching at Jerusalem and about the events on the road the Damascus, and to the Galatians regarding the resolution of the Council of Jerusalem.

The Pharisees were condemned for their lawlessness (anomia, Mat 23:28), and Paul's lawlessness was evident: he refers to the 10 commandments as the ministration of death (2 Cr 3:7), and to the curse of the law (Gal 3:13)

VERY VERY good point! That is so true! That exactly what I had in mind when I asked this question.

Ivrim/Hebrews 7:11-25
11 If therefore perfection were by the Lewitical
priesthood – for under it the people received the Torah –
what further need was there that another Kohen (Priest) should
arise after the order of Melech-Tzadik, and not be called
after the order of Aharon
?
12 For the priesthood being transferred, there is made of
necessity an adjustment also in the Torah.
13 For He of whom these things are spoken of pertains to
another tribe, of which no man ever served at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Master sprang out of
Yahudah; of which tribe Moshe said nothing concerning
the priesthood.
15 And it is yet clearer: that after the likeness of Melech-
Tzadik there arises another Kohen (Priest),
16 Who is not appointed by the Torah of a carnal
command, but by the power of an endless life.
17 For He testifies, You are a Kohen Priest forever after
the order of Melech-Tzadik.
18 For there is truly a setting-aside of the former
command, because of its weakness and
unprofitableness.
19 For the Torah made nothing perfect,
but the bringing
in of a better expectation did; through which we draw near to
YHWH.

20 And He confirmed it to us by an oath:
21 For those Kohanim (Priests) were made without an oath; but
this One with an oath by Him that said to Him, "the Master
YHWH swore and will not relent, 'You are a Kohen (Priest)
forever; after the order of Melech-Tzadik'":
22 By that oath Yehoshua was made a guarantor of a better
Covenant.

23 And they truly were many Kohanim (priests), because they
were not allowed to continue by reason of their death:
24 But this Man, because He is Immortal,
has an
unchangeable priesthood.
25 Therefore He is able also to SAVE them to the uttermost

that come to YHWH through Him, seeing He lives forever
to make intercession for them.

You just gave me an idea for another post.

"When we accept the Messiah for who He is and accept His Plan of Salvation then, we are no longer under "condemnation or the punishments from breaking the law"."

Beliefs do not change the law, or in other words, the ignorance of the law is no excuse. The Pharisees were condemned for their lawlessness:

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead [men's] bones, and of all uncleanness.
Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity [anomia].
Matthew 23:27-28

Strong's G458 - anomia

1) the condition of without law
a) because ignorant of it
b) because of violating it
2) contempt and violation of law, iniquity, wickedness
